“I bought three freshly baked gluten free loaves from George at the Silver Street Bakery - a farmhouse, a focaccia and a boule. They are all every bit as good as regular artisan bread. The farmhouse is just like a white loaf, it has a great texture and crisps up really well when toasted. The focaccia will be great dipped in olive oil or with roasted vegetables and the boule, a wholegrain loaf, is just as good. I enjoyed a few slices while they were still warm and later sliced them up to keep in the freezer. Way better than the sliced bread available in supermarkets. ”

“Thank you Silver Street Bakery! I ordered a birthday celebration cake and it did not disappoint! So much care was taken to make sure the cake was exactly how I wanted, the communication was excellent and the ordering and collection process was super easy. The cake itself was beautiful and incredibly tasty (I can definitely recommend the death by chocolate cake). It went down a storm with everyone who had a slice (or two!). “Delighted to have found George and Silver Street Bakery! We’ve been following a GF and DF diet for almost a year and have struggled to find a decent bread substitute after having to say goodbye to homemade sourdough.
So far, it’s a thumbs up for the Farmhouse loaf and a fingers and thumbs up for the rosemary and olive foccacia which was half demolished on our way home from our first visit to Silver Street.
